Tarantino rip old films and do GREAT FILMS. I don´t know if you rip but you do a GREAT COMIC.
I love this page with the “girl with machineguns” and sword´s throwing.

Well I gotta say i thought it was the top hat to! D:
but I really don’t think they mean ripping things off, I believe they mean seeing the influence from other things.
The influence of anime style comedy and action mixed with western video game style speech artifacts etc etc
(Also a playboy style bunny girl snap shot didnt hurt O: )
So i think when they say “ripping off” they mean “Influenced by”
But your storyline is still your own, the characters are your own, the weapons are your own. And to be honest i have never seen a talking moose before or a badass babe fight with a pair of scissors.
and the list goes on from there. It’s your own :p and its badass haha
(Personally, I think the moose is the greatest character conceived by man bwahaha)

I have to be honest, I did see that coming. There were some clues a few pages ago, when Jess first started shooting him and the red point began bleeding.
But I didn’t envision Jason throwing his sword at it. I envisioned him leaping between the tentacles and stabbing mightily, but this works too, though not at ‘Crowning Moment Of Awesome’ status (Can’t top parrying a chainsaw).
And Mega-yays for the vote incentive. Whatever Kendall went through to get that job, I would willingly go through worse.

It’s the flow of awesomeness from the weapons. Holding that sword makes him that strong.
And I didn’t see this coming at all, but now that it is I think the Gorgolash is wearing the hat as an intentional distraction. It hoped they would go for the hat and miss the forehead. Good on them for noticing the blood!
